We all know about their day jobs, but away from the stage or screen our fave celebs have many a hobby or passion.
One person not afraid to give thing a go is the Duchess of Cambridge herself, with the Royal proving herself to be an accomplished photographer and artist.
However, another hobby she tried out, with less success, was knitting – admitting that she tried to pick up the skill when pregnant with her eldest son, Prince George.
She intended to make a jumper for her son, but she was less than successful – describing the craft as an “amazing skill.”

During an appearance on the James Corden Hidden Talents Show, Kendall, 26, revealed that she had a knack for bird calling.
Apparently, when she Kendall was younger, Caitlyn Jenner was teaching her and her siblings to whistle, and Kendall started chirping like a canary.
She has also showed off her impressive skill with Cara Delevingne on the actress’ Instagram page.

In an interview with Vogue, the singer, 40, revealed her surprising hobby as a beekeeper.
She said: “I know it’s random, but I have two beehives. Real ones. I’ve had them at my house for a while now. I have around 80,000 bees and we make hundreds of jars of honey a year.”
Despite her fanbase being called ‘The Beyhive’, that’s not the reason she chose the hobby – she started keeping beehives for two of her children.
She said: “I started the beehives because my daughters, Blue and Rumi, both have terrible allergies, and honey has countless healing properties.”
The American socialite and model has an unusual hobby – admitting she goes frog hunting.
Paris Hilton once told The Sun: “I love frog hunting. I go at my ranches. I have one near Oakland, California, and another in Nevada, and I own an island. So I catch frogs and put them in a bucket and then let them go.”
There was a rumour that Paris, 41, also restored vintage radios – however, she revealed that it was just a rumour in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
She said: “I heard that rumour too and I don’t even — like, I’ve never seen a vintage radio. I don’t know who made that up. But I guess people love to make up stories about me. Yeah. , it’s just another example. But it’s so random.”
Brad Pitt, 58, is big into pottery according to sources close to the Hollywood actor.
But not only that, Brad apparently stays up into the early morning making pottery with Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star Leonardo Di Caprio, 47, after they bonded while filming together.
A source close to the actors told The Sun : “Brad’s got his own sculpting studio at his house and Leo loves coming over to use it.
“They sometimes hang out with Brad’s artist pals, but other times it’s just the two of them.
“Leo brings sandwiches over from their favorite place, Fat Sal’s, and they spend their boys’ nights creating art until the early hours.”
Tom Hanks, 65, is another Hollywood star who has an unusual hobby – collecting typewriters!
The Forrest Gump and Saving Private Ryan actor received his first typewriter when he was 19 years old from a friend – but it was “a hunk of junk – a toy”.
When he took it to get it serviced, the repairman asked him “why are you using a toy?” This led the actor to buy his first typewriter from the same man, a Hermes 2000, leading to a lifelong obsession.
In a feature with The New York Times, he is admitted to owning hundreds of typewriters over the years, but after giving them away, he is down to about 120.
Actress Leslie Mann, 50, has an even more unusual hobby – unicycling!
The This Is 40 star got a unicycle for Christmas when she was 11 and she has never looked back.
As well as her successful film career, she can do various tricks such as cycling backwards and jumping off curbs.
Speaking to Lorraine Kelly in 2018, Leslie said: “The tire has been flat for years, but I can just get up and do it. It’s like riding a bike – you never forget.”
The American singer-songwriter, 32, has revealed that she likes to make snow globes, which she gives to her friends as homemade gifts for Christmas.
Taylor has previously posted her snow globes on her Instagram page – and often makes them out of mason jars, antiques, and glitter.
She says that putting them together makes her feel like a kid again, which is incredibly wholesome.
Retired boxer Mike Tyson, 55, has taken up an unexpected hobby since stepping away from the ring – pigeon racing.
Mike attends a pigeon pageant every year in Canada and is reportedly quite good at it, too!
He is known to be dedicated at maintaining and training his birds, and hoping that the sport will become more popular with younger generations.
Like the Duchess of Sussex herself, Ryan Gosling, 41, taught himself how to knit, but with much more successful results.
The star learned how to knit on the set of Lars and the Real Girl, he revealed in an interview with GQ Australia.
He said: “If I had to design my perfect day, [knitting] would be it. And you get something out of it at the end. You get a nice present. For someone who wants an oddly shaped, off-putting scarf.”

The glamorous blonde bombshell, 51, has been fascinated with insects ever since she saw dew drops sparkling on a spider web.
The star has mounted insects and paintings of bugs across her home, as well as turning her house into museum for everything spider-related – as she has a special love for the arachnids.
